In Godby, we have several departments and production halls where we work with a variety of materials and advanced manufacturing processes. At Optinova, we operate over 100 production lines and manufacture more than 5,000 different types of products.<\/p>\n

Swedish is the primary working language in our production in Godby. For safety, quality assurance, and effective daily communication within the team, it is important that operators can understand and communicate in Swedish. Because of this, proficiency in Swedish is required for the operator role in Godby and therefore the ad is in Swedish.<\/p>\n

The tasks for an Operator vary depending on which production department you join.
For example, you may work within extrusion, where you are responsible for a production line. This includes preparing the machine for a production order, setting up the machine, monitoring the production process, performing control measurements, documenting, troubleshooting when needed, cleaning, and possibly packing the final product.<\/p>\n

If you enjoy working with several tasks at once and a varied workflow, this might be a good fit for you. In this area, you are responsible for one or several lines at the same time. You plan your work independently, prepare materials, perform control measurements, inspect products, document your work, and pack the finished items.<\/p>\n

If you are detail-oriented and precise, then post-processing could be interesting. Here, you work independently to post-process tubing according to the specific order. This may include preparing tubing using a welding machine, assembling different types of tubing, or applying additional layers or components.<\/p>\n

Working Hours
Our starting point is that all new Operator employees in Godby should have the ability to work three shifts. The department you join may currently operate only daytime shifts or two-shift schedules.

Working Hours at the Godby Factory<\/strong>
At the Godby factory, we work Monday to Friday and operate on an intermittent three\u2011shift schedule. Our working hours rotate weekly (or in two\u2011week intervals), and the shift times are as follows:<\/p>\n

Morning shift: 06:00\u201314:00<\/strong>
Night shift: 21:45\u201306:15<\/strong>
Evening shift: 13:45\u201322:00 (Fridays until 20:00)<\/strong><\/p>\n
